Welcome to those of you joining me from Magical Days with the Mouse and those of you who have just hopped aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail.
My favorite activity outside of going to the Disney theme parks is hanging out in Downtown Disney.
I feel that Downtown Disney has so much to offer guests of all ages. For me, making a stop at Downtown Disney is a must on any Disney trip.
I love all the restaurants, shops and various activities that Downtown Disney has, and the best part about it for non-Disney Passholders is that you're getting the magic of Disney without having to pay the price!
My absolute favorite activity at Downtown Disney is DisneyQuest which is basically a Disney virtual theme park. We have so much fun when we're there. You would think we were 10 years old again! I love the Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters and Virtual Jungle Cruise attractions. I can never get enough of them. And of course being able to relive my childhood by playing all the old video games I used to play as a child in the classic video games area.
Besides DisneyQuest, I love shopping and dining at Downtown Disney. Two of my favorite stores that I always visit are the World of Disney and Disney's Days of Christmas. I always find something I want to buy to take back home with me. For dining your options are endless, although I tend to always eat at the same four places: Wolfgang Puck, Rainforest Cafe, T-REX and of course Earl of Sandwich.

Do you love visiting Downtown Disney as much as I do? What is your favorite thing to do there?
Thank you for joining us this month. We will be back June 24th with an all new theme, though feel free to keep checking in with our blogs in between loops to keep up to date with our Disney info, photos and stories. If you are looking for more Disney magic, you can find all the blogorail members and their blogs, as well as all our previous loops at The Magical Blogorail.
Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail Loop should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:

2nd Stop ~ Walt Disney World: It’s Not Just For Kids
3rd Stop ~ Your Highway in the Sky
4th Stop ~ Magical Days with the Mouse
Final Stop ~ Adventures of a Disney Princess
We have never been to Disney Quest. We always say we are going to check it out and then never do. One of these trips, we will have to head over there. Also, Earl of Sandwich is one of our favorite places for a quick bite to eat. Great food at a great price, though we do enjoy Fulton's too!
ReplyDeleteYou really have to check it out! We only did so about a year ago even though as annual passholders we've had access to it for quite some time. I'm not sure if I would pay the admission ticket if I wasn't a passholder, but maybe that's because I'm 26 and not 6! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your kids would love it!
I do love Downtown Disney! Have you read the newest Kingdom Keepers book yet? It starts off in Disney Quest :)
ReplyDeleteWe love Downtown Disney as well! I love shopping and they have so much available there to look at. My favorite store is probably the Christmas one because it includes both of my loves: Christmas and Disney! We have not been to DisneyQuest, but I know my husband would love it. Maybe when my son is a little older (he is only 3 now) we will try it out!
ReplyDeleteWe just love Downtown Disney! We try to do something new each time we go (while making sure to visit our favorites, too). Last time we went, back in January I believe, we ate at Wolfgang Puck Express for the first time. Delicious! I love stopping to listen to the musicians if there is someone out, Ghiradelli is always a good stop, and of course World of Disney and the Christmas Shoppe! Now I really want to go again (not that I didn't before)!
ReplyDeleteI too love Downtown Disney.. I always spend a lot of time there.. and TREX and Earl of Sandwich are some of the best places to eat.. yummm
ReplyDeleteWe spend a lot of time at Downtown Disney here in Anaheim too. I never get sick of going through the stores! I will say that your WOD is much better then ours, or at least that is how I remember it. It's been 13 years since I've been to the Florida one.
ReplyDeleteDisney Quest is crazy fun! The boys love it. Then, lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express is for me YUM:)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Disney Quest we're too busy shopping an eating! :o)
ReplyDeleteMy daugher wants that Aurora statue in her bedroom! We usually do like you do and hit DTD the evening we arrive. We like Raglan Road, Wolfgang Puck & Earl of Sandwich...yum!
ReplyDeleteDowntown is the place to be. Love the stores, the food stops, the product diversity and especially the Legos. We can spend hours.
ReplyDeleteWe skipped Downtown Disney, because it seemed more geared toward teenagers and adults than younger kids. I'm finding out that I couldn't be more wrong, and am looking forward to exploring it next time!
